"Magnesium stearate is used as a filler or binder in manufacturing especially for vitamins. It is basically like eating chalk. Consume enough of it and a film or barrier will form in your small intestine that will prevent your body from absorbing nutrients. I have emailed Vitacost about this ingredients and asked why do they still use it, but they have ignored me. Hope people will do their own research and decide for themselves."

"Magnesium is an essential mineral that many Americans are deficient in. While this looks like a great product otherwise, it is a huge oversight. Please warn customers that they may need to take a magnesium supplement with this or their essential minerals will be out of balance."

"I got the product within 4 days of ordering (FAST!!) and it is a very complete multivitamin/mineral. Not the very best forms of these vitamins but higher quality ones..e.g., B12 is methylcobalamin not the bad one with cyano aka cyanide.. but no pyridoxine 5'-phosphate or methylfolate though. The minerals and extra helpful ingredients balance that out, so it's overall a fantastic daily vitamin and I haven't seen a better one anywhere, especially for the price!"

"A patient told me of this company so I started to take a look at the supplements and I feel you can get a good idea of quality by looking at the multivitamin. Most of the ingredients look ok but copper is too high. Recent research is leaning towards too much copper in our diets due to piping in our homes and Alzheimers. It should be 100mcg or less."

"Just about all you need in one vitamin pill a day. I only wish they could include saw palmetto in the vitamin and increase the CO-Q 10 to 200 mg. If it had these extra items I would have given 5 stars across the board. However this is still a great product and I highly recommend it."
