"I have been taking fish oil / Omega 3 for a long while & though this one was comparable to what I had been taking. (fish oil is fish oil , right) Not the case. I take it & the taste is about the same but this one I end up belching up for hours later reliving the flavor of the fish oil that noone wants to taste. Not a favorite. although my origional is in a much smaller bottle & more expensive the value of this big bottle is not worth revisiting the taste all day."

"This is excellent fish oil. The flavor is great. However, Vitacost please repackage in a container made of plastic (not glass) with a squirt spout that lets us control the volume of oil dispensed in a tiny teaspoon. Currently pouring the open bottle results in overflow and spilling the oil which reduces the "value" of the product...this value drips down the drain. Thank you."

"I have been using Vitacost Liquid Finest Fish Oil for about one month now. Although I cannot say I see a differenct in my health, the benefits of Omega 3 and EPA fatty acids typically aren't noticed on the outside.
What I can say is the flavor is outstanding. Each teaspoon provides a BURST of lemon flavor. I mix one teaspoon into my green smoothie every morning. I'm not as concerned with adding sweeter fruits to sweeten the taste of the kale and collard greens now. One teaspoon of Vitacost Liquid Fish Oil and voila, I have a green lemon smoothie.
Now for the important part; I you are concerned about heavy metals like mercury in fish, then you shouldbe using this fish oil. Studies show that the larger the fish, the more heavy metals (mercury) is found. The smaller the fish, the less mercury is found. The vitacost label lists sardine and anchove as the oil source. These are very small fish with a short live-cycle. This means these fish have not had time to absorb any harmful polutants larger fish may absorb over a longper period of time.
I use this fish oil together with Barlean's Flax Oil; another high quality product. I can say that after using the Barlean's Flax Oil for three months now, I can see and feel a noticable difference in the quality of my skin - not as dry, smoother and mor elasticity."

"Recommend this fish oil. Have been using name brand fish oil for many years and recently tried this product because the price was much more reasonable. It is just like the name brand. The only thing I do not like about it is the bottle needs a non-drip pour spout. It gets kind of messy and you have to wipe down the glass bottle after each use to keep it clean."

"I purchased two bottles of the Vitacost Liquid Finest Fish Oil Omega-3 DHA & EPA Lemon -- 16.9 fl oz thinking that it was a great deal.
By chance, I read the ingredient list last night and was appalled to find out that this "so called" fish oil has SOY in it.
I am a 40 year old male and attempt to avoid soy when possible.
I used about half of the first bottle before I happened to read that the fish oil contained soy! I don't want soy/fish oil. I want good old fashioned fish oil.
I love Vitacost but am very disappointed with this product. When I purchased “Finest Fish Oil" I didn't think that I needed to read the ingredients but I guess a lesson was learned last night.
You may want to put a disclaimer under the name of this product “contains some soy”. Most guys want a higher testosterone level and soy is not conducive to high T-levels."

"it was taking the cod oil (my kids too) no problems. i liked the balance of the omegas in this formula and to my surprise it taste better. my kids will be happy about the change.
